Hello, I hope you’re feeling good. Welcome to minutes of facts podcast.

In this episode, we will discuss a really interesting topic. Let’s talk about drama;

How much Drama can impact our mental health ?

Before to jump into how to reduce drama on our lives. Let me recall how much drama can impact our mental health and wellbeing.

Being involved or exposed to drama, whether it’s at home or at work (or both), can lead to increased stress, anxiety, and a negative outlook on life.

In fact, constant exposure to drama can be emotionally draining and it can make it virtually impossible to maintain a balanced and peaceful life.

How to reduce Drama In our lives ?

  1. Be honest with yourself: about all those relationships full of drama in your life. Point on them and determine them. Don’t turn blind eye about as you we used to do, Be honest with yourself about how much they doing harm to you.
  2. Be self-aware: Listen to yourself, reflect on your own behaviours and emotions to actually  know whether you are contributing continuously or not to drama.
  3. Practice emotional distancing: It’s a way to avoid getting too caught up in negative emotions or letting other people’s feelings get the best of you. Get distance as much as you can from drama situations.
  4. Set boundaries: which means Take some time to establish and maintain healthy boundaries with other people, both emotionally and physically, and also consider your own personal boundaries with yourself.
  5. Reflect on your values: stick on your principles and make them your guide. It’s importance because it shapes how you should deal with people around and even it makes you make better choices.
  6. Focus on what you can control and really matters: the only thing you can control is YOU! So focus on your behavior, emotions, thoughts and actions, and how to improve yourself to the best.
  7. Be proactive: I mean develop proactive strategies to anticipate potential sources of drama in order to totally avoid them; We can call it DRAMA FILTER.
  8. Improve your communication: develop direct and clear communication with others in order to avoid any conflict leading to drama and in case, know how to address those conflicts.
